One jumper. One remarkable wool. Four colours.

And one simple idea: make fewer things, and make them well.

Most of us don’t need more clothes.

We need better ones.

The kind you reach for again and again. The jumper that works with jeans, boots, a white shirt, a winter coat. The one that feels special without feeling precious.

So instead of creating another large collection, I wanted to make one really good jumper.

A simple, relaxed shape.

Four beautiful colours.

And an exceptional British wool that gives it warmth, texture and character.

Something worth keeping

So much knitwear today is designed to be bought quickly and replaced just as quickly.

This is the opposite.

Each jumper is made to order and knitted by hand.

That means it takes time.

Every row is worked individually. Every stitch passes through someone’s hands. Slowly, over many hours, the jumper takes shape.

There will be tiny variations because it has been made by a person, not produced by a machine.

That is part of what makes it special.

A handmade jumper is not simply clothing.

It is skill, time and care held in one piece.

Something to wear often, look after and keep for years.

Wool that deserves to be noticed

The jumper is made from 95% British Bluefaced Leicester and 5% Wensleydale.

Bluefaced Leicester is one of Britain’s most beautiful native wools, known for its softness, strength and natural lustre.

Wensleydale adds character and a subtle sheen.

Together they create a yarn that feels substantial and luxurious, while still feeling unmistakably like real wool.

Warm.

Soft.

Tactile.

Full of character.

This jumper was designed around the wool, rather than choosing a yarn afterwards to fit the design.

Because when the material is this good, you don’t need to overcomplicate it.

Made differently

I’m not interested in producing hundreds of styles or chasing a new collection every season.

I would rather make fewer pieces that genuinely earn their place in your wardrobe.

So this first collection begins simply.

Made by hand, to order, in small numbers.
